Curator – Lisa Paul Streitfeld, PhD

As a curator, critic and New Media artist, Dr. Streitfeld has been dedicated to tracing the emergence of the 21st century icon of the hierosgamos for two decades. As the daughter of the leader of the Human Potential Movement of sixties, she attended her first encounter group as a search for the Aquarian icon at the age of five. After her Kundalini opening in 1983, she began her spiritual journey as a novelist experimenting with new forms of multidimensional narrative reflecting the paradigm leap of simultaneity of past, present and future. She launched her career as art critic in 2000 with regular contributions to Southern Connecticut Newspapers, expanding to The Hartford Courant (2004) and New York Times (2005). She rode the paradigm shift into the virtual with her New Media invention of her five chapter blogal “The Alchemy of Love in Five Elements” at the Lab Gallery in Midtown Manhattan (January 20, 2007 – January 23, 2008). After presenting her alchemical performance “Bliss” (January 23, 2007) at Evolver Wake Up & Dream in 2008, she was invited to join Huffington Post Arts as as a blogger/ reviewer in 2010, and expanded her search around the globe, writing over 100 posts for her (R)EVOLUTION series (2010-2018). After introducing her theory of the transgender to AECA Spain at Reina Sofia in Madrid, she started working with artists in the Algarve to create a local movement dedicated to hermeneutics. In November, she will deliver a paper to the International Art Critics Association (AICA) Congress in Taiwan about her virtual process of globally disseminating her 21st century theory disclosing the hermeneutics of a new modernism. She begins a new epoch in her decade of collaborations with artists with the launch of “9000 Seeds” under the electrifying Taurus Full Moon of October 24, 2018.
